Dr. Kayla Kindla earned her Doctorate of Optometry in 2018, graduating from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry. As part of her optometric training, she practiced at the William V. Chappell Jr. Veterans Outpatient Clinic in Daytona Beach, Florida, as well as the Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth Texas. During this time she gained experience treating a variety of health issues including glaucoma, diabetes, and dry eye syndrome. During this time she also earned the title of a therapeutic optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
Dr. Kindla has been practicing optometry since 2018 and is a member of the American Optometric Society and Texas Optometric Society. Dr. Kindla also serves on the board as social chair for the Central Texas Optometric Society. She is licensed by both the Texas board of Optometry and National Examiners in Optometry.
Dr. Kindla loves all outdoor activities including hiking and sand volleyball. During her spare time she enjoys playing with her dog, Duke and taking him on outdoor adventures.
